Ipswich Chamber Choir is grateful to all our supporters who have helped us to perform ambitious concerts such as Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 and Bach’s B minor Mass and MacMillan’s Seven Last Words from the Cross. 

We have launched a new annual Friends, Patrons and Sponsors scheme.

Benedict Collins Rice, the choir’s inspirational Musical Director, has planned an exciting and adventurous programme of concerts leading the choir to its 40th anniversary in 2024 and beyond. Your support will allow us to engage the instrumental and vocal performers it needs to make all of this possible and more, such as the commissioning of a choral work by Benedict and the ambitious four year Bach Passion Cycle - the performance of one Bach Passion each year from 2022 to 2025.

In return Friends will receive during the year:

· Three newsletters giving an insight into the choir and its plans

·  A complimentary programme at each concert

·  An invitation to attend an open rehearsal and an annual reception

· In addition, Patrons will each receive one complimentary ticket for all ICC concerts and interval drink .

The Bach Circle (donation £200 - £600)

This is a special appeal to support the Passion Cycle. You may wish to sponsor, or part sponsor, one or more of the 22 exceptional individual soloists and instrumentalists, for example an orchestral player, the orchestra leader, the tenor soloist performing the role of the Evangelist or our Music Director. The average professional fee is £300.

Members of The Bach Circle will receive all the benefits of Friends and Patrons with two complimentary tickets for premium seats per concert and the opportunity to meet our Music Director and some of the performers.

All supporters will be acknowledged in concert programmes if they wish.

The subscription year runs from 1 September to 31 August.
